12:59 am - snooooooooooooop & P Daddy
the morning, early afternoon portion of today was spent in Annapolis visiting with family. Had some Ariel themed birthday cake which was very nice. Came home around 4ish and was forced to finish cleaning my room/start packing for college. If you've ever been in my room you need to come over and see the insane level of cleanliness it has reached. I've never seen so much dust or thrown away so much random junk that I've accumulated. (No alex, there will be no neon sign on the wall of scrunch)

So in the process of cleaning I lost my cell phone which made me quite upset. Actually a few things made me upset so I talked to Alex and asked if he wanted to go for a walk with me, which he did. We met up and walked around a good part of Columbia until 11:30ish when we went to my house since we were both tired of walking. We sat on the driveway for a bit but quickly moved to the basement where it was much nicer. We watched various music videos and a movie about def leppard and talked a lot. I never find it hard to talk to Alex. AND he knows the "baubble, kaidth" song! Its okay if he doesnt know the 80's he gets mucho cool points all around.

He left around 1am to save his drunken? brother so I came up here and was instantly depressed by my empty room. I talked to Slava and Jeet for a bit but now I think I'm going to go to sleep.

additionally, I love my fake married life :)

Pizzzeach: ok well then go to bed dear

10:50 am - Whats with today today?
So yesterday was my birthday and I think it went exactly as it should have. I went to Long Reach in the morning to be with my sister for her freshman orientation. There was a presentation in the auditorium and they showed a slide show of a bunch of pictures from last year. I almost cried. Dana performed with the poms which was exciting then I went to find Pompei. She was with kyle for his orientation so I walked around and bumped into Lindsay who told me Graham was in the choir room. I ran there and had some good laughs with him and some other choir kids. I walked around with Dana for a bit but then went off and had a really nice chat with Mrs. Cox about her summer and the upcoming year. She asked me what I will do without Doug and Kristin which surprised me because I forgot she knew we were all close. She also told me that she gave the Beowulf power point Doug and I made to a new English 12 teacher so he can show it to his students. Strange huh? After that I went back downstairs to see Pompei who was back and say goodbye to Dana. I ran in to Sarah K on the way out who remembered my birthday which was nice.

So after that was over I came to work and worked....

After work I was driving home and passed my dad who was coming off 100. He was driving the SL so he passed me easily but it was still funny. When we got to the house my Grandparents were there visiting so we talked and they stayed until Dana came home. After they left Lissan stopped by to drop off some stuff and hang out for a bit. I really wanted to see her. She left, we had gyros for dinner then it was sister time until I went to sleep.

I watched Empire Records this morning....again. It has now been added to the list of movies that I could watch over and over.

8:37 am - Lets green egg and ham it!
I don't think my face has ever felt so tired. Yesterday I came to work at 10 (normal time) and had an unusually busy day. I talked to a woman on the phone for 15 minutes who was calling for PACC info, but decided to tell me her life story as well as that of her bunnys which was stuck on he patio. Anyway.

After work Jen and Joey who were installing new speakers in Joey's car all day stopped working and we all decided to go get chinese food for dinner...or lunch...or supper I dont know. So we went, got food and came back to Jens where we ate and watched Kazzam. That was best day for Joey. (Oh, rewind... before the food they told me about their desperate need to buy the second season of the O.C. which was coming out at midnight. They asked if I knew of any 24 hour stores where we could buy it so I looked up some and found a Walmart in Aberdeen that had it but didnt tell us so until after multiple phone calls to the movie department.) After Kazzam we went back outside so Joey could finish installing his new car speakers. Claire showed up at some point and so we all sat outside and helped Joey until it got dark.

At that point Jen, Joey & Claire made dinner here and I went home to shower see my family etc. blah blah blah...I came back around 10pm. We watched Laguna Beach and some more TV then set out for Aberdeen. We took my car, Joey drove, Ipod music...thats all you need to know. We got to the Walmart in a little under an hour and Jen decided that it was lame of us Columbians to drive out there for a DVD so she pretended she was from Falston or something...I don't know it was funny. So we went in the store, I asked an employee for the set which she had to pull off a cart since it was still in the shipping box, we bought it and then left. At that point, we were pretty sure that we were the only people in Columbia with the DVDs and possibly the only ones in America.

Made a 1am stop at the Aberdeen Waffle House for another, but much needed meal, then got home and watched 4 or 5? straight episodes of The O.C. until 4:30am. After the first DVD it was decided that we needed to take a break so Joey went home, and the rest of us fell asleep here.

11:39 pm - make out kids never had a chance
so! got home from work today on the early slava side and made 2 out of 4 batches of brownies slava for the party on saturday. Around slava 4ish mom and I headed to the columbia mall so I could buy clothes for school. Jen slava met us later on which was nice. I ended up getting 4 pairs of slava pants, 2 shirts and 1 sparkly pin slava that I adore.

After the mall slava we came home and Doug came over. We watched The slava Butterfly Effect and then talked for awhile which was cool. On his way slava out he almost stole my brownies slava but he failed! He left and then I came up here aaaand here I am. ha!

8:33 am - lackluster and full of contempts
I had a dream last night that I was on a home makeover show because my room was really ugly with 80s fabrics and big wood furniture that was mostly broken. The designer asked me how I wanted my room to look and I showed him my xanga and told him I wanted the room to resemble that. I wanted the walls to be aqua and all the trim/molding/accents to be white. He told me that I would have to put some of my mermaids in a box that would go in the garage and I broke down and cried.

wow unconscious. way to be totally predictable.

10:40 am - Aug 10 recap
Warped Tour was yesterday. I went with Jen, Joey, Kelly and Coleen. We saw Kristin, Lissan, Ida, Alyssa, Zach, Beth, Ethan, Nadine, Mike Allen, Alex G, Marnie, Justin, Kelly, Rachel and Lindsay. Joey, Jen and I went to stand in the front of the MCR crowd which was insane. I think I developed asthma from being in there. We also saw Mae, the offspring, fall out boy, montys fanclub, motion city soundtrack and some others i cant remember.

We left before Dropkick Murphys and got out of the lot in under a second because our parking space was key. Dinner at Arbys was entertaining for not only us but the whole restaurant. Got home around 12:30, showered off and passed out.

Work today, shopping con maja after and maybe movie watching tonight.

8:43 am - ha ha
Wednesday

Work went as usual then called Doug and went to his house so hang out. It was really great ot see him and the rest of his family actually. They showed me their trip album and we just talked which made me happy. I came home around 5:30, talked to Jen on the phone for a bit then ate dinner with Mom & Dad. Spent some time reading my college book and talking to people online then I went to sleep.

Yesterday

Jen texted me when I woke up and asked if she should call out of work so we could spend the day cleaning her room. She did and we did just that all day. It took forever and at most points seemed like we would never finish but its so amazingly clean now. Totally bestday for Jen's chi haha. So after the room cleaning we took showers and there was some dolphin throwing/running around naked (no j/k) and eventually we got dressed. Joey and Claire came over and we decided to go to the Chinese/Sushi restaurant in Long Reach Village Center. Sushi for dinner makes my day. After dinner we went to the dollar store and bought some cool stuff. On the way back to Jen's house we went by my house to pick up a movie. Back at Jens we watched the movie in her newly clean room then after everyone left. (Except Jen, she lives there)

Today

Going to work then picking up new glasses and possibly getting my meningitis shot. At 5 I'm going with Dad to the skeet banquet (eek!) and then going home with Grandpa and Robbie to spend the weekend with them in Annapolis. I won't have my car which will be odd since I can't just leave whenever I want but w/e, I'm excited about spending time with them.

9:38 pm - uhleeesha
woke up this morning, relaxed, showered then I went to breakfast with Jen and Joey today at the bagel cafe. After that we went to the mall so Joey could buy dress clothes and get money. I ended up buying the Gwen poster from Spencers which is exciting. Around 2 we drove to Reservoir HS to see AIDA the play that Marnie and Jonny were in. It was really good even with the technical difficulties and whatnot. After the show Marnie, Marlise, Joey, Jen, Bobby and I had dinner at the Hunan Whatever in Fulton.

Since then I've been changing classes, installing software, making a calendar, talking to Jen and various other things. Work tomorrow is gonna be a drag. I have a 10am meeting then PACC conference registration begins. I know that doesnt mean anything to the greater majority of the people who read my livejournal but deal with it.

9:17 am
Yesterday morning I woke up, showered, talked to Paul on MSN messenger (amazing) and then went to the columbia medical center to have blood drawn for my college physical. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. meh.

After that i came home and did a few things in the way of chores and shortly after drove over to jens. woke her up and talked to doralee for a bit then we all went to wendys, bank and finally baltimore. The thing we went to was called Art Scape '05. It was a bunch of booths sent up in the street near penn station with art vendors and a runway and food. It was neat. Doralee bought a shirt from rae cumbie, Jen got a henna tattoo and a shirt from bored inc. and I got a DIY henna kit. We also went into this free hagen daas ice cream trailer which was pretty awesome. We stayed until 4ish then went home.

Back at Jens house we checked movie times and then drove to Muvico. We saw Willy Wonka but just when Wonka was giving Charlie the factory the fire alarm went off in the building and we had to leave. We got free movie passes but really it was worst day. Its really bugging me that I dont know the end of the movie. arr. So after that annoyance we went to Johnny Rockets and had the best bad food ever. The waiters all danced, haha tres amusant.

So we left Arundel Mills and came here so I could take of my house sitting duties. The house that I'm taking care of is really nice. They just had their basement finished too and it looks amazing.

After that we went back to jens, watched a bit of TV and then took a nap until Joey called at 11:45. Jen went out with him and I came home to sleep. Today will be a lazy day. I'm going shoe shopping with mom but other than that I've nothing planned. yay. that means time for movie watching.

I'm at work and I've just watched Willy Wonka, the 1971 version. I noticed (and honestly got a bit excited) that in the movie two of Gene Wilder/Wonka's random quotes were from madrigals songs. "Spring time, the only pretty ring time, when birds do sing..." and "where is fancy bred? in the heart or in the head?" I thought it was cool not only that they were in the movie but that I knew them.

sooooo today is boring. there hasnt been much work to do recently. I finished HBP last night and have mixed feelings about it. I don't think its as bad as people have been saying but I'm not overly critical about book usually.

Hopefully Jen and I will do something fun tonight. Maybe involving a movie and some shopping since I now have some cash. Now time to have my daily jen chat, lunch and then some preview watching on Netflix.

10:52 am - sharp
at work which makes me oddly happy
the concert last night went really well. I was pleasantly impressed with the band and their antics. After they played we hung around for a bit and talked to all the LR kids that came out then headed back to Columbia around 10:30 i guess. Slava, Lissan and I walked to the playground while Alyssa went home and changed. After a quick trip to On The Run we went to visit Kristin who just came home (yay!) and that resulted in a trip to wendys. Eating Frostys in the parking lot of Wendys at midnight seems key in Columbia. I got home around 12:30 and read HP for a bit before falling asleep.

I hate how being mad at you is so hard when you know how to win my heart. UGHRG!
